Fee Schedule

In forensic cases, the client is generally the attorney who is requesting the services.

Fees for services are billed to the attorney/law firm and not to the attorney’s client.

Dr. Leporowski does not provide forensic services on a contingency fee basis per the Specialty Guidelines for Forensic Psychologists.

When Dr. Leporowski is retained to provide services on a forensic case, a non-refundable retainer is typically collected to cover eight hours of work at $250.00/hour for all forensic services. When the retainer funds have been used, Dr. Leporowski bills the responsible party on an interim monthly basis. Payment is due upon receipt of the statement. A flat rate daily fee of $2500.00 is charged for most out-of-town cases requiring overnight travel, plus reasonable travel expenses.

Dr. Leporowski’s services are regularly sought by various circuits’ Public Defender and State Attorney Offices. Dr. Leporowski often accepts referrals from agencies who have set fees such as the Department of Social Services or Department of Juvenile Justice; these referrals are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the office in Greenville, SC at 884-752-7577 to discuss whether Dr. Leporowski is available to accept a referral.

Psychoeducational Evaluations:

Fees for psychoeducational (learning) evaluations of individuals ages 6 through 21 are based on age, grade level, referral questions to be answered, and the amount of direct time involved in test administration, scoring, and interpretation.  Please call the office for fees.

Clinical Evaluation:

In non-forensic cases in which a clinical diagnosis is sought, the initial comprehensive diagnostic assessment interview is $225.00 and psychological testing, if necessary, is generally conducted at $175.00 per hour for all services. These evaluations are also offered on a fee-for-service basis payable before a final report is generated.

Individual Psychotherapy:

Psychotherapy is offered on a fee-for-service basis, deliberately not utilizing insurance benefits, in order that the content and process of the psychotherapy remains entirely confidential and is never contained in an insurance company database. Like many experienced psychologists, I have chosen not to participate on most insurance panels. The fee for a 50-minute session of individual psychotherapy is generally $175.00.
